My experience working with FieldEdge was unfortunately not a positive one. From the start, I felt like the training process was rushed and lacked the support needed to truly succeed in the role. I was quickly expected to handle customer calls on my own, despite not feeling fully prepared. Many customers were understandably frustrated, mostly due to consistent issues with the app not working properly—something I had no control over, but had to take the brunt of their complaints for. On a more personal note, something that deeply affected my time there was the unprofessional involvement of the boss’s wife. While I completely understand that companies may check social media, I was extremely uncomfortable upon learning that she had looked through my photos and told her husband not to speak to me at work. This level of personal intrusion—especially from someone who doesn’t even work there—created a toxic and tense environment. I dreaded coming in each day, not because of the work itself, but because of the unnecessary and inappropriate drama that made me feel judged and isolated. No one should have to work in an environment where they feel like they’re walking on eggshells for reasons that have nothing to do with their performance or professionalism. I hope the company takes this kind of feedback seriously, as it’s not just about internal operations—it’s about treating people with basic respect and dignity.
