Pros
Some of the loveliest people. outside of management, most of the people who work there a truly kind.
Cons
I suspect multiple managers and a few peer leaders to be racist and sexist. They do not promote based on merit and they DO try to push people away that call them out. Managers make exceptions for their friends. (Often Caucasian males). Everyone else must play by the book. There are several moments where culturally insensitive statements and gestures were made by management and peer leaders but there was never any consequence. Jokes made about Cinco de Mayo, assumptions about people’s music taste made by their race, and an overall lack of empathy towards people of color who felt affected. Management would “forget” when certain people exceeded quotas but praise others for meeting quota. The ones forgotten were typically women and people of color and those ones praised were always Caucasian men. Many employees said they began to feel numb to this behavior because they expected it and saw no future where a better alternative could arise. Truly a disappointment.
