Pros

I met some really great people.

Cons

I worked at this company for over a year, and my experience was far from what I expected. Initially, there were promises of promotions, raises, and profit sharing, but after the first year, none of those promises were fulfilled. My review was supposed to include a promotion, but when it came time for it, nothing happened. The management was more focused on cutting costs, often by cutting corners, and that resulted in an overwhelming workload for everyone. The responsibilities in my role kept increasing, but the support and resources didn’t follow. Many times, I was expected to take on tasks that weren't part of my original job description, even when the agency wasn't qualified to handle the roles we promised to clients. This added unnecessary stress, and the pressure to produce results under such conditions was immense. It felt like the workload was constantly being shifted onto those of us who were already overwhelmed, with little to no recognition for our efforts. To make matters worse, I was underpaid for the amount of work I was doing. I often worked overtime without compensation, and I had to take on multiple jobs just to make ends meet. For over a year, I worked seven days a week, trying to pay off student debt incurred for a job that never delivered on its promises. The lack of raises and promotions left me feeling stuck, so I had no choice but to juggle three jobs just to stay afloat. In the end, the CEO’s true priorities became clear—finding quality employees to work for low pay and offering no opportunities for growth. Recently, many of the employees who were let go were replaced with lower-paying roles, which only confirmed my suspicions about the company's values. I had high hopes for this company at first, but after experiencing the reality, I can’t recommend this job to anyone, especially not to my friends. The increased workload, lack of support, and absence of career growth made it a very discouraging environment. I learned a lot, but it came at a personal cost. If you value fair compensation, work-life balance, and career development, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Pros

Team was supportive, kind, and fun! Learned SO much because managers provided opportunities to step into the skills I was interested in. The team was included in many meetings between clients and the CEO, which was an amazing learning experience.

Cons

Client objectives can change quickly, but that's typical for marketing agencies.

Pros

Hardworking employees who care about the quality of their work—but they’re stretched thin and unsupported.

Cons

The CEO is the biggest obstacle to this company's success, and his refusal to listen to anyone but himself is driving it into the ground. Employees repeatedly raise core issues, month after month, trying to help the business function better, but constructive feedback is either dismissed outright or met with hostility. The CEO simply cannot handle anyone telling him "no" or suggesting improvements, creating a toxic cycle of delusion and dysfunction. He spends all of his time selling, making grand promises to clients about services we either lack the expertise to deliver or don’t have the manpower to complete. Meanwhile, his employees are left scrambling, overworked, and disorganized, trying to meet the impossible deadlines he's recklessly committed to. I never had a standard weekly meeting with him because, instead of pouring into his team and providing the support we desperately needed, he prioritized selling like a snake oil salesman. He promises the world but delivers chaos—and the employees are left to pick up the pieces. This creates a negative feedback loop: the CEO sells services we can't fulfill → the team expresses concerns → the CEO ignores or invalidates the feedback → the team is overworked and spirals further into burnout and disarray. It’s a constant state of "emergency" that stems from his own poor decisions, but he refuses to acknowledge that he's responsible. Beware of the inflated positive reviews—most were written under pressure or from interns long before the company became what it is today. If you value your mental health and professional growth, avoid this place.
