Pros

Pay was good, especially when you had the ability to make bonus on anything you touched individually. Not sure if they still have that same structure. Benefits are really good. Able to work from home full-time.

Cons

The onboarding/training process was not good. Very hectic and unclear. Nearly every day there is a fire drill, and there are not enough working hours in the day to deal with the chaos and having to navigate ways to solve the problems on your own. You basically have to teach yourself everything and better hope you have a good mentor/friend who is willing to help you. You're expected to keep up with over 100 slack channels per day - with sometimes hundreds of messages in just one thread. They gave us a day off for a "mental health day" for all of our hard work and then weeks later forced us to work 6 summer Sundays in a row with no warning - no questions asked. No bonus pay. Had a hiring spree and then a year later did a large round of layoffs. Company would spend money on things like sending everyone a new shirt every single week - even though some people didn't want the shirts because they had too many. For a long time it seemed like they were just burning money like it grew on trees. Overall employee morale is at an all time LOW after the restructure! People are overworked and when asking for help do not receive it. The company is very big on promoting culture and a healthy work-life balance but nobody feels they have a healthy one.

Pros

I've personally had an incredible experience working at Fetch. It's the first time I've truly felt supported by leadership and invested in as an employee. Fetch truly is what YOU make of it. I really like that Fetch encourages us to explore different tools, and makes them easily accessible. The tuition reimbursement program we have is amazing! I also really enjoy all the different ERG activations, this is the first time I see a company truly encourage people to be involved.

Cons

Things do move quickly here, and some days can be long... but it's also a scaling, tech start-up with a ton of momentum. That kind of comes with the territory. We are growing, and fast. I personally think it makes it the perfect time to join the company.

Pros

Good benefits, great pto policy, great rewards system, on paper the company looks great

Cons

-incompetent leadership (not all, but a good portion) -bait and switch style hire process -they don't have solid direction on where they are headed so it's a lot of top-down confusion -leaders have heads in the clouds but don't know how the tactical things happen, so there are two different realities amongst execs and the lower level employees doing the work -pay comparisons are questionable -microaggressions, bullying, and bias run rampant as it's not much diversity -absolutely no one knows who does what, so you will spend hours or days finding the right person just to get a task done OR question answered. Causing unnecessary delays and tension. -Because of the ai first nature, a lot of people are hired that don't have a clue what they are doing tactically. So conversations and next steps are written and fueled by ai. -Everyone talks like walking philosopher degrees with unnecessary filler and jargon to SOUND like they know what they are doing, but not enough tactical skill. Semantics are huge here. Because of this, ALOT of miscommunication and confusion happens. -They don't have the proper organization or management tools, just slack heavy... as you can imagine chaos breeds in this space. Everyone says "Welcome to Fetch" instead of just hiring the right leaders to bring structure asap. -The focus is too much on doing whatever to get the job done and hit revenue goals.
