Pros
The team are really smart, they want you to grow and they are supportive and really committed to doing a good job. You feel supported going into meetings alongside your colleagues and managers, everyone wants everyone to succeed. After reading other reviews it is obvious how different the culture and feelings are outside of HQ in Dublin. In Australia we have top of class trustworthy employees who go the extra mile. HR and management are approachable, transparent with recent structural changes, they don't hide away from the current reality we are in where roles have been removed to help get the company to where it needs to be. They make time to discuss any concerns and dont give you a generic response, they have been in the job for years and genuinely care. Perks are the holiday days, paid days off over Christmas without using your leave, 100% paid medical insurance for families.
Cons
A lot of leadership changes in a short time, mostly outside of Australia but it can be unsettling across the team. Interacting with global teams like R&D in Dublin needs to happen outside of business hours in Australia causing a bottleneck (unless you work late to join calls) and slows down how much we can do the next day. Company updates and guest speakers occur during the day in Europe and are recorded to watch later which doesnt help make you feel like part of a global team.
