Pros

Working for the famed Fender brand. Dressing down and a casual workplace. Talking and playing Fender gear all day. Decent pay for what you do. Some really great people to work with. Some department is always getting free (good) food so your chances of swiping some leftovers is pretty good! There's guitars laying around all over the place so if you play, it's pretty cool. Jeff Belke is one of the greatest people in the organization and you would be blessed to meet or work with/for him.

Cons

Saying "hello" or "good morning" to people in other departments and they stare right through you and say nothing as they walk by, (it is Scottsdale btw-wanna be Beverly Hills if you don't know). Certain managers will try to humiliate you on the floor in front of everybody with impunity, just cause they can, lots of passive aggressive back stabbing. Incomplete or different micromanagement from different supervisors can be challenging at times. If they had any quality assurance keeping people in check the milieu might change for the better. The place has much potential for being a fantastic place to work and some really great people, but it is a stressful place with a lot of intangibles that need to be addressed, but it's too big and complacent to change. They try to make it cool and hip, but without a respectful human factor you roll the dice and take your chances. If you know you're good at what you do, "go for it!"

Pros

- super chill enviroment - great collegues - huge rock and roll culture - not super demanding depending on yearly projects - lots of fun activities year-round - great place to start your career; use it as a launchpad

Cons

- poor leadership; truly, IDK where they get these leaders from - you wont get any help, expect to be thrown in the deep end - frontline workers complain a lot, makes it hard to implement things
