Pros

There is a very strong internal bond (personally/professionally) between associates. The Executive Team is professional and truly wants the best for the employees.

Cons

The company has not given company wide merit/cost of living raises in years (in some cases over 5 years). All qualified/experienced staff leave shortly after being recruited.

Pros

Health benefits? Other than that, nothing

Cons

Owners are too conservative - not a good thing. Raises are rarely given and if they are, it's barely anything. Hard work is not recognized and the owners believe they are your savior because they gave you a job, but if you ever decide to leave, they will immediately turn on you and call you ungrateful for what they have given you. The owners are very old and need to realize that they are not providing their employees with a good work environment. They expect 110% effort from all employees, but never recognize them for it. Overall work environment is extremely stressful and morale is so low you would think everybody at the company hated their lives for working there. I am not sure why half of the employees still work there because they can easily find a job somewhere else that will actually recognize them for their hard work and will give pay increases. Upper management needs reality to smack them in the face because the job market is bouncing back and they are going to lose every employee unless they change what they are doing. When I left the job, I did not receive one good bye from ANYONE in upper management. Not the right way to handle a business at all. They really need to bring in a person who can contribute new ideas for this company or they will get left in the dust.
