Pros
The people I worked with in my office made this job!! They are without doubt the best bunch of coworkers anyone could wish for. The wage is above average compared to similar roles.
Cons
Run buy ignorant and unsupportive managers who couldn’t give a monkeys about the wellbeing of the participants let alone their staff! Targets are unreasonable and unrealistic due to the clientele that are catered for. The idea of supporting people to get them into a sustainable role is pushed aside for the urgency to fulfil a contractual commitment that was clearly not achievable! The way this company is actually negatively impacting on peoples mental wellbeing is disgusting, but nothing compared to the impact it takes on its staff on the front line. When the majority of your colleagues say to you that they are physically sick and in tears at the thought of going into work it speaks volumes! Valid ideas to improve the situation are dismissed by higher management, who favour bullying and scare tactics to get results that serve no one but themselves. The goal post change so often, the job that I actually I applied is nothing compared to what I left!
