Pros

- Great company culture. Really focuses on taking care of their people with great benefits and cultivating a supportive work environment. -They really value developing people so if you want to move up there is massive opportunity to do so.

Cons

- Pay is very unfair to veteran employees. I know a guy who has been a loyal team member for almost 15 years. He's an excellent hard worker, very experiences and knows the business well. He takes amazing care of Fedex customers and yet a new hire with zero interpersonal skills was hired on, barely knowing the business. Her starting pay was MORE than what he makes. - Assistant Management role gets stuck with the worst hours in the company. It is a REQUIREMENT they work only CLOSING shifts and have to work on weekends. "Night/Weekend Manager" would be a more accurate description. Meanwhile everyone below them mostly work day shifts Mon-Fri.

Pros

Friendly coworkers and supportive team environment. Gained strong customer service and communication skills while helping with printing, shipping, and handling different types of orders.

Cons

Limited opportunities for advancement since you often have to wait for someone to leave before moving up.

Pros

Have a Strong staff and great customers -for the most part. Don't see my boss but 1-2 month.

Cons

The corp fluff to accomplish something. Setting all these goals and targets then forget about 90% until it's time to do the yearly "anonymous" survey. Then you see which stores had how many surveys done. 🙄 Keep it short and sweet it would be more effective. Have outstanding customer service but don't do anything personal in your store to recognize your customers. Be different but don't show it 😂 Working for Amazon now with no more pay. It benefits the store not us in our paychecks. At times unrealistic expectations with a high volume store and a staff of 4-5.
