Pros
The job offers insurance which was nice.. Seems to be plenty of ways to move around the company from what I was told by others.
Cons
At the time, the increased pay from my previous job was nice. However, it still did not account for living in the most expensive city in the state. I wasn't expecting to be a millionaire, but pay put me just -barely- over the state poverty line. I was always told "your hands are gold", but I was paid with tin. Paid time off and sick time are great, but when your team (including management) put you in a guilt trip and act passive aggressive because you believe self-care is important, you hesitate to take advantage of the benefits you get. The company claims to encourage people to offer ideas to better improve any aspect of the job. There were numerous occasions where I'd ask questions so I could be better informed about various operations. But instead of my request being answered, I was effectively told that I wasn't paid to think. Creativity is NOT rewarded in this job. And if you call yourself a creative individual, DO NOT work here. It will crush your soul.
