Business outlook
Pros
Great place for people who don't mind part-time employment.
Cons
Losing it's focus when it comes to it's own stated corporate "PSP philosophy (i.e. "People Service Profit). Slowly chipping away at the unique set of benefits and incentives that were once available to all employees, most notably "jumpseat" privileges. Compensation used to be in the upper echelon of the industry but has failed to keep pace with inflation for the last 10 years. The bar for management is set low (2 year degree or above preferred but not required) sometimes resulting in managers who are motivated but often lack the basic managerial tools to make educated decisions (e.g. quantitative skills, management theory and practice...etc.).
