Pros

I enjoy my work. Most of my coworkers are friendly and hard-working. They have a good work ethic and will help you out if you are a hard worker too. Many have been here a long time. The company will provide Gatorade on hot, busy days. They will occassionally provide lunch, or snacks. Most of those in lower management positions are friendly and helpful. Managenent gets to know each and everyone of the employees.

Cons

As with many places, there are slackers. Nothing is done about those who don't pull their weight. There are some managers who are lazy and can be seen doing nothing or on their cell phones or talking to other employees. This certainly doesn't set a good example, especially at times when they ask you to stay late. They preach about safety yet when it is busy, all safety precautions are abandoned. It is obvious that it is more important to process as many packages with no regard to employee safety when it is busy. It is very hot in the warehouse in the summer months. The pay is not adequete for the work you are doing. Those who work hard and do a good job should be rewarded, but instead they are taken advantage of.

Pros

Beat the traffic to and from work. You get a combination of active work walking around the warehouse and office work at a computer.

Cons

When express and ground merged, some of the admins decided they weren't going to do any of the new express tasks that needed to be done. Management either didn't seem to notice or did not care as they never intervened or addressed this disparity. A coworker with my same job title was in the air conditioned office all day, working on tasks that were not a priority while I was getting slammed with work that was required for my position. If that is what management wanted, that is fine. But it was never addressed to the team. Management doesn't address or care about these things as long as someone does it.
