Pros
Fastenal is a great company to learn sales through. They give opprotunities to a lot of people that other companies wouldnt. This makes a great environment for people who are new to sales or want to learn. It can also make be very frustrating for people who are more established and expect their coworkers to be professional and experienced. Overall it is a great learning experience but not a long term career.
Cons
I have worked in three different fastenal locations and what I have noticed is that their requirements to become management are quite low. Because of that taking a job with fastenal is loike a game of roulette, you never know if you will work under quality mangement
