Firm's mission, environment, staff, and benefits. Being a smaller-sized firm, it provides a lot of potential for professional development/growth, and provides opportunity the for less experienced staff to be exposed to all aspects of the architectural and urban design process.

Some staff may prefer a more structured environment, it terms of hierarchy, while others appreciate the ability to take initiative and self-manage. This may create confusion at times.

Interesting projects with opportunities for new ideas in sustainable architecture

Nonexistent communication between management among themselves as well as between management and staff, unclear goals and expectations, creating a situation where it is impossible to succeed because of lack of necessary information, feedback, or agreed upon standards and goals. I wish I was religious so I could wake up every morning and thank god I don’t work there anymore. By far the worst experience of my professional career.
