Farmigo is a great company to work for. They offer a great work/life balance, a comfortable and enjoyable work environment, and they do a great job balancing a big mission statement with running a successful company.

Nothing bad to say about the company

The office at Farmigo feels more like a coffeehouse than a corporate environment. Makes it a nice place to work each day. Team members are always willing to hangout during the day and vent about their workloads. Employee discount on groceries is a huge plus.

One of the main concerns that I have about Farmigo is the transparency about the future of the business. We were told that we had raised another round of venture backing in June, but there hasn't been any press or media coverage to confirm this. Usually when startups raise another round, they want people to know so as to prove that the company is on the right track. We are also expanding into a new market with Seattle before we have mastered how we do what we do in New York and Berkeley. The other issue with Farmigo is the pay is pretty lousy. Normally this expected at a startup, but we aren't even offered performance related bonuses. It feels like Farmigo wants you to burnout and will then replace you.
