Once again, management because of appointment/connection/relation, not because of skill. Company does the bare minimum when it comes to employee 'benefits'. No on-site HR department. No compassion for employees, constant micro-management, too many wasteful meetings. A lonely, directionless job, mis-sold to me, and swiftly moved the goalposts. It's easy to see why so many people leave the company.

The team are friendly, funny and competent - where there is pressure there is high reward, support and appreciation - and as the team is around 20, you always feel you can be heard. I actually left after 3 years here to work for family, and missed it so much I returned in 2023 to new spacious offices that are in a great location. There are a few new faces, but the majority are familiar due to the fact that most people want to stay here for the long-haul!

Publishing deadlines don't suit everyone - especially those who want a stress-free work life, but management currently do everything in their power to be as flexible as possible, and support individual departments.
