Pros

SI has very wealthy investors who have shown a willingness to pump a great deal of money in the company without the expectation of short-term profitability.

Cons

Most of the other reviews focus on the dysfunctional management. I echo those sentiments. The managers are indeed bullies, untruthful, arrogant and demeaning to employees. But I want to focus on an aspect of SI that has otherwise been neglected in the previous reviews: The lack of integrity and honor. Most of the senior managers at SI have little to no IT experience. But I am most disappointed in a particular leader who has a wealth of IT experience and has a position of authority within the company. He has seen cultures built on mutual respect and appreciation. He has seen cultures built on a cornerstone of secrecy, contempt and fear. He knows the difference and willingly chooses the path of least integrity. I was told only one employee didn't receive an incentive-based bonus. I immediately asked three employees if they received bonuses and each said no. There is no honor in dishonesty. When entertaining perspective clients, managers showcase products that do not exist in an exercise they call "theatre." There is no honor in deception. Employees are humiliated, disrespected, browbeaten and terminated if there is but a suspicion those employees find fault in or question "The Vision," which is ethereal, ever-changing and seldom communicated. There is no honor in cruelty. A company run without integrity or honor is positioned for collapse.
