Company was the best place to work. It rewarded the employees for executing. Great product, lots of opportunities outside the 4 walls.
Cons
They took away all incentive to excel. Investor groups who were not operationally aware create an environment that made it hard to want to go to work. No thought given to ideas just thrown out to do. No money to reward the hard working staff. No money for repairs or remodeling outdated restaurants. They made the simple tasks major projects, and micromanaged all aspects of the business. The company grew because people were rewarded for bringing sales into the company and innovative thinking. The systems were simple and gave time to focus on the guest and driving business. New people were put in charge of different departments that had no clue of operations. One year without a marketing department.
