Great place to work - Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist Family Solutions Employee Review

Family Solutions is a healthy and much needed part of the community. Working for this organization is something that people can be proud of putting on their resume. From residential to day treatment to schools to family homes, Family Solutions does such good work. I like the flexibility, the "family" atmosphere among staff, the robust promotional opportunities, competitive pay, professional trainings, and their strong open-door policy with management. If I had a son or daughter wanting to build a career in this field, I would definitely recommend Family Solutions.

Due to the nature of working with troubled children, there is stress to the job, but that stress is reduced through training. Also, depending on the job, there work schedule may be in evenings, overnight, or weekends. Finally, the programs cover three areas/towns... Ashland, Medford, and Grants Pass... so there may be some driving depending on your job (even though the organization pays mileage).

Definite opportunity to work towards clinical hours. Many wonderful individuals in leadership roles values employees, were understanding and very supportive in helping you grow.

Pressure to increase caseload, leading towards burnout. Some individuals in leadership roles lacked awareness of clinician experiences and needs in the field and within the agency.
