Unfortunately, leadership and management are the biggest challenges at this organization. The CEO does not have a medical background, which shows in many bad and operational and clinical decisions. The VP of Medicine is rarely present only coming in about two days a week and when they are present, communication is often handled through pooly rather than constructive leadership.
The workload is completely out of control. Providers are expected to see too many patients with unrealistic expectations, leaving little to no time for proper charting or quality patient care. This creates constant stress and puts both staff and patients at risk. I genuinely feel bad for the doctors and nurse practitioners working here, as they are clearly overworked and unsupported.
Overall, management lacks the ability to effectively lead a healthcare organization. There is little structure, poor communication, and no clear strategy to support clinical staff. Until leadership improves and prioritizes patient care and provider well-being, this is a very difficult place to work.
