Pros

Must love motorsports, Falken dedicates a lot of resources to supporting multiple motorsport efforts. Like inordinate amount. In fact, Falken probably pours more time, money, and manpower into motorsports than other tire companies 2-3 times bigger. Company experienced tremendous growth despite the recession, which is a good sign. Many employed for DECADES here

Cons

Almost seems like the company grows despite the terrible middle management. Almost seems like there's a HUGE gap in skill, talent, and experience between the Senior executives and the next level of "leaders" within the company. Even during the big company pow-wows, the Executives would outline their vision and direction for the company, and then the middle tiered managers would express their own interpretation of said vision and it's often two different messages. Most of the middle tiered managers have little to no real world management experience, and the ones that do don't often get the opportunity to move up, or work in an area where they can potentially make a bigger impact on the company. The end result? The grunts are dissatisfied, the executives are wondering why their clearly set goals are not met, in the mean time stuff rolls down the hill, and the people that are making the mistakes are rewarded and the people they manage either fired or blamed for the short-comings of the company. A very toxic environment to work in, unless you love motorsports.

Cons

- No career advancement plan - You have to fight for career advancement - The company has a great culture to foster manager-level employees but lacks in the individual contributor segment.
