      Pros

      Great 911 experience Everyone tries to help everyone (to an extent) Plenty of OT to go around Coworkers generally care about people, strong bonds are made Management cares about you and tries to help if you make the effort initially

      Cons

      People are often hesitant to help with shifts because they've been burned before Management jumps to worst case scenario and will discipline accordingly Scheduling is sometimes inflexible

      Experience, networking, friendships, schedules, that’s about it

      Cons

      There are a lot of them but it’s what you make of it. Keep your head down and don’t deal with management.
