      Pros

      Working with OCFA or LACoFD is great if you want to become a firefighter. You grow professional relationships and friendships.

      Cons

      Management and dispatch are sub par. Lots of unnecessary posting of ambulances at night.

      Experience, networking, friendships, schedules, that’s about it

      Cons

      There are a lot of them but it’s what you make of it. Keep your head down and don’t deal with management.
