Pros
This internship comes with great opportunities to grow your skills, professionalism, and confidence in the nursing feel. I feel so much more prepared and capable for my future as a nurse after completing this internship. I felt supported and learned to advocate for myself and others through this incredible experience. I now have a step ahead and the resource to be apart of an amazing company as a new grad nurse in a few months.
Cons
Patient ratios were very high in my unit and felt overwhelming at times. With unstable patients in a lower acuity unit I felt like I wasn’t always doing everything I could for them.
