Pros

-Love the mission of Faire --Focused on helping small retail stores and makers. -Smart and passionate co-workers that have an amazing work ethic. -Free lunches and occasional happy hours. -Good medical benefits for a start-up.

Cons

-Fear-based culture-Employees are afraid to speak up and it's similar to a cult. You are brainwashed to think that you are lucky to be working at the company. Typically, someone is fired weekly and no one talks about it and is afraid to contact the former co-worker in fear of retribution from the CEO. -The CEO and COO lack empathy and compassion. They don't care about employees and are completely focused on GROWTH. Growth at the expense of their employees. -It's a bro culture and all the (men) founders feed on one another. They have a weekly management meeting called "DEBATE" and it's all the white male executives debating ideas. -They lack diversity and don't care that there's a disproportionate of male executives to females. -No work/life balance-Expect to work 7 days a week -Leaders typically don't last longer than a year so there's high turnover on the leadership level. -Lack of Trust on all levels of the company leads to micromanagement.

Pros

Great company full of very talented and driven people. Awesome mission and leadership.

Cons

Startup culture, so hours can vary (not your typical 9-5), should be passionate about the company.
