Overall great products are made here in their state-of-the-art facility. $17 base pay for all employees (production workers, lab, housekeeping, etc). If you have a family or no health insurance, they provide great benefits. Some genuinely pleasant people here working throughout the plant. New work boots 2 times a year. Holiday gifts are kind gestures.
Cons
Highly toxic and high stress work environment. The lab is quite demanding and is one of few departments that requires a degree/experience, but you earn $17 base pay. My schedule was changed 3 times in less than a year due to low retention rates. Micro-managed by some coworkers who made work dreadful. Also, some are always trying one-up everyone else to make themselves look better. If you work in the lab, you have the pleasure of refilling your concentrated peracetic acid storage containers from 55 gallon drums using a drum pump without fitted respirators or proper ventilation. Random drug screenings every 3 months.
