Pros
+Great flexibility and work/life balance +Very knowledgeable, interesting coworkers from many cultures +Fun team-building events
Cons
-Silos between functions and rigid corporate structure -Slow to change and adapt to the market, especially for a start-up -Lack of success of the product is contributing to major morale issues and a gloomy outlook for the future
Pros
- Competitive benefits package based on the Berlin market. - The average of co-workers are very nice and friendly. - Training budget.
Cons
The company has lost several key people in the past year, including the head of the key department of the company. A high volume of layoffs with low levels of transparency have created a hostile work environment. Many of the leads and even C* level executives do not understand what is happening in the technology area. Technology department base their actions on poor politics (friendship) rather than state-of-the-art technology and best practices. Team members are usually moved to different teams based on the subjective judgment of the lead team member, rather than on objective criteria such as the technological expertise of the team or team member.
