Pros
No discipline structure; If you can play politics, you'll never have to work! Work beyond advertised hours; NOC employees can expect unsupported and unassisted 12-hour+ shifts, 4 days a week (advertised as 10), and senior teams have the option to accept your emergency escalations! Alcoholic beverage consumption is scheduled and encouraged during business hours, officially AND off the books!
Cons
Management are much more concerned with KPIs than keeping employees; have grossly underpaid their best talent such that the best employees leave rapidly. Documentation is laughably incomplete and is avoided by all employees and silenced by managers. Pay is grossly out of balance with workloads; core IT staff are embarrassingly underpaid and this company falsely titles employees as "engineer" to avoid paying overtime, when after starting it's sprung on them that they are REQUIRED to work 10+ hours a week overtime. While sales persons are not required to work even full weeks and collect all bonuses available. After-hours support is non-existent; least experienced employee is stuck on night shift with less than a week of training.
