Pros
For me one of the big difference is the work environment - it's not like anything else I've done before.its a real eye opener to walk in and everyone is genuinely in a good mood, smiley, laughing - not everywhere you go people are happy and positive in the mornings, at least not without a coffee or two but for me I began to see it's important that where I work is professional but at the same time fun. I've worked in a variety of different roles : food industry, telecoms, real-estate, fitness industry and none of these excited me as much as seeing the potential to put everything I had built in terms of skills from previous career choices and utilise them in one place. The idea of progression has always been a want for me, before i didn't have the opportunity or knowledge of how to progress without it taking me a few years.The idea that I could progress faster was part of the reason I was attracted to this career as I've wanted to be in a managerial position for years.
Cons
I'm not gonna lie I work harder and longer than in previous jobs and some times I get tired but my mind set is that if I want to achieve my goals it is worthwhile. every job is hard work but if my other jobs where challenging I probably would have not given up and for the lack of opportunity. if it's not difficult it's not worth doing
