It Used to Be Great...Then the CFO Was Promoted to President - Business Development Executive FTI Defense Employee Review

The previous president established a very positive culture, but decided in 2022 to promote the CFO to President and mostly disengage from the company. The new President has almost single-handedly destroyed the culture of the company and completely crushed the morale of those who workforce. Numerous employees have been fired or left the company on their own, contracts the company had held for years have been lost during recompetes, and there has been very little new business won due to horrendous morale and the subsequent destruction of the company's reputation. It is rare to see the rise or fall of a company being so closely tied to the poor leadership of just one person...but in this case, it is clear. I cannot understand how the previous president...a good man with a clear vision and truly nurturing attitude towards the workforce...has allowed his appointed replacement to run the company into the ground. It's very sad.
