Toxic, Toxic, Toxic. - Data Entry Clerk FP Assistance Employee Review

It's sad that the only people who think to come on here and leave reviews are the people who have terrible things to say. As a current employee, I really enjoy working here. I have grown so much in my time at this company. I've learned so much about the food program and I feel really passionate about what we do. Any time I have had an issue in the office, I have felt respected and listened to. My coworkers are some of the kindest people I have met. No workplace is perfect. Yes there is a dress code, no you can't be on your phone at your desk all the time. These are things that a lot of offices have in place. I personally don't have a problem with it- their dress code is not strict. You can wear a tshirt and jeans. On the team I'm on you are allowed to be on your phone quickly as long as it's not excessive. Or you can just clock out and take as long as you need. One of the other things I saw on this site was that everyone is related to each other and there's no chance to move up. That is not true. I was hired from indeed, did not know anyone, and was promoted in about a year. I would hate to see anyone be scared off by these bad reviews when a lot of what is said is exaggerated or completely untrue. In my experience it has been a great job for someone who wants to work in an office and is passionate about helping the community.

Everyone who works here is all family, there’s no way of going up in this company , managers talk about the employees and gossip, team leads are mean girls and hr has a constant nasty attitude, they make you work without pay and breaks when it’s close to claim, can’t use your phone at all , have to carry a bathroom pass and write down what stall you went into and the time that you were gone, picks and chooses who they enforce dress code on , everyone here is just so judgmental. I hated waking up every day to go to this job , please don’t waste your time here
