Pros

- The company has a good reputation in the local and regional market. - Great exposure to new technology. - Great experience with big projects for big clients in the region. - Innovation is constant to keep up with market. - New features introduced on regular basis. - Relaxed work environment. - Easy to access office location. - Flexible working hours - Friendly management - Available work from home option for appropriate cases - Causal dress code - No strict procedures

Cons

- No clear hierarchy at work. - lack of proper management, decisions are individual and always go back to one or two persons. - Lack of formalized procedures. - Lack of formalized workflows. - Project assignment and decisions can be overlapping. - Job description is not clear and job titles are not precise (sometimes irrelevant). - Work environment is not homogeneous. Recruitment is mostly functional based on the person's ability to perform a specific set of tasks without considering his ability to fit in the present environment. - Low company culture. - Big but crowded workspace. Can be very distracting sometimes and uncomfortable. - Lack of future vision and career path for the personnel. - Lack of salary plans. - Frequent hiring mistakes. Rushing into hiring often brings incompetent employees or employees with conflicting values or conflicting working methods. - No documentation available of the company policies, employee benefits, responsibilities, do-s and don't-s... - Performance review is not serious and only done on yearly basis. Consequently employees cannot measure their strength and weakness to take advantage of the strong skills that they have and improve the weaker ones. - Objectives and goals are not clear for the employees and for the company. - Constantly changing direction in management which becomes very confusing for the employees. - No propper training and follow up. Lack of leadership from the higher positions. - Very pressuring work in terms of time of execution. - Weak communication between the employees. - Poor office facilities ( small kitchen, small fridge, narrow desks, no drawers, unorganized cables...).
