Pros

None. There is absolutely nothing positive about working here. You’ll regret the day you join this organization.

Cons

I completely agree with this review and want to emphasize that the toxic culture at Mathlogic extends across all levels of the organization. Manu Chandra is the worst boss anyone could have, creating a hostile environment filled with micromanagement, unprofessionalism, and disregard for employee well-being. Anurag Verma, despite being fully aware of the issues, remains passive and chooses to support Manu instead of addressing the toxicity. This lack of accountability further deepens the problems within the company. Most managers and consultants at Mathlogic have barely two years of experience and lack any understanding of corporate culture or professionalism. They are unqualified for leadership positions yet are tasked with leading teams. For example, one senior manager doesn’t even know the theory behind XGBoost, a fundamental machine learning algorithm, but still manages a large team. Another consultant used to come to work high, which reflects the lack of standards and professionalism. One of the managers, behaves like a school kid and is completely unfit to lead a team. Adding to this, there are small cliques among employees whose main focus is gossiping rather than work, which further deteriorates the work culture. Recently, performance evaluations were conducted, but they were not based on merit or actual performance. Instead, favoritism towards managers was evident. I personally know of a manager who prioritized their crush during the evaluation process, giving them an unfair advantage over others. This blatant bias makes the system completely unfair and demotivating for hard-working employees. In summary, the absence of work-life balance, unqualified and toxic leadership, favoritism, unreasonable working conditions, and lack of professionalism make Mathlogic a company to avoid. Employees deserve a respectful, fair, and growth-oriented work environment — none of which is present at Mathlogic.
