Work/life balance has gotten worse and worse over the last couple years. Working from home means more access to their employees at anytime during the day. Respect for working hours is diminishing. All while the company "promotes" taking mental health days and "advocates" for your overall well-being. We're encouraged to take off, but that means coming back to an even heavier workload.
You can never get a straight answer from upper management. It's always "it depends," "this is tentative to change," etc. Things change daily and new systems are contantly added to make things more effecient, but ends up doing the opposite and is just additional work.
Work has never been so inefficient, cumbersome, and with little training. Many employees quit without the company adding any new hires for certain positions until there's a clear training in place. Meanwhile exisiting employees are expected to pick up the extra work and still meet objectives.
Many internal employees that I spoke to feel the same, yet all we here is how great everything is working. It's beyond frustrating and unmotivating.
