Pros

- I was very new to the restaurant side of hospitality and this was a great experience! The management is very supportive and wanted you to learn. - Very generous with benefits and excess to employees. - Generally easy going either way friendly and supportive staff. - Constructive feedback and the GM is a really great leader and wants you to do well. - Really great SOPs and standardized ways of each step of service.

Cons

This is more of the restaurant industry as a whole, not exactly this specific company. I have an administrative background, so it’s different for me. - Kitchen team can be extremely short and rude for no particular reason. It’s always high stress, handle it better instead of taking it out on other staff. - Lack of proper PTO and time off for the holidays. I understand it’s hospitality, but more needs to be done for staff regarding time off and holidays. It’s crazy to me that you really can’t take PTO because your pay is in tips. - A lot of side work for the wage. Once again, for $2.13 an hour they had a lot of expectations when the guests are mostly paying me….not the company. - Some days it was just really exhausting when the serving staff had an attitude, kitchen staff was stressed and short, guests were short. It was alot of emotional management being in the middle of it all. - Server staff was kinda like a clique and wasn’t very friendly sometimes.
