Pros

Summer days is the only benefit so you can get away from the TOXIC environment and people that work here

Cons

Best decision I made was to quit this horrendous company and get away from the constant berating that I was subject to during my time here. VPs/AVPs that have been here for 5+ years act like their word is gospel and there is 0 room for encouraging junior staff to learn or grow. There were multiple times I would be brought to tears by staff and everyday AVPs/VPs/Supervisors would get away with treating junior staff in particular with disgust and belittling them. Micromanagement from middle management is rampant here along with racism, lack of creativity and inflated egos. This comes from the same people that know if they left this company they wouldn’t last a hot minute at any other actually prestigious PR agencies which is why they stay at Finn churning out the same basic and full ideas for all of their clients. If you value your mental health - do not work here.

Pros

Prioritizes work-life balance and enormous openness to feedback.

Cons

Limited opportunities for growth (I was part of a team that had no promotions in 6+ years, despite the fact that all of them are amazing), DEI façade to "pretend" they're part of a progressive movement (I'm nonbinary, I said this in my application and interview process, and literally no one ever used my correct pronouns, especially my manager who I talked about this with several times), and there's a lot of chaos that folks simply accept as a fact of life rather than something to grow from and improve. There's simply no desire to collaborate for growth—literally one of the most dysfunctional places I've worked at.
