Culture: Organization has a serious culture issue. The team responsible for working on culture is literally non existent Pay: Pay is not market competitive, the Organization exploits the market condition and has a massive attrition rate of 26% Promotion: FINCA has this policy which requires you to work 2 years to be eligible for promotion. However, few ppl have got double promotion within a year of joining. Surprising. Likewise, those who otherwise get promoted after standard of 2 years, get a raise of 250 -500 PKR Trainings: There is no focus on career development. Only the ones close to HoD gets to go for external trainings, often for those trainings that are meant for junior staff E learning: while the world is allocating budget for e learnings from websites like coursera, FINCA seems to be sticking with rolling out generic trainings on keeping oneself safe from phishing, email hacks, absolutely nothing for employee’ career development. Inter department rivalries: almost all departments don’t cooperate with each other unless, it makes one reminiscence the narrowed vision bureaucracy that is found in government departments Bad culture: the Organization has a whopping attrition rate of 26%, which goes to show state of affairs.
