Pros

good place to start your career or get good experience in construction documents. i started there straight out of school and got to work on some good-sized projects. the overall dynamic of the office (oak brook location) was pretty good but there are some people there that have big egos and are not very approachable if you are not part of their inner circle...expect typical office politics here. As an intern architect (not licensed) it was a good place to jump start my idp training, and some of the project managers are really helpful.

Cons

you get stuck in a corner at one position for too long doing the same thing over and over again...it's almost like a production line for architecture, but alot of firms are set up that way. if you go in expecting to start as a drafter and end up as the head of the office, it's not going to happen. have realistic expectations about getting some good design development and construction document experience while you are there and then you can move on to somewhere else.
