Pros
Friday's they have snacks that you can munch on all day.
Cons
If you grew up in a strict, demeaning and uneventful household and want to continue that lifestyle in your adult years this is the perfect company to work for. Hourly pay not salary, mediocre health benefits, CEO always yelling and micromanaging You will be worked like a slave and taunted left and right by the owner. Make sure you always keep everything black on your desk from cups to glasses to whatever. If not the CEO will chew you out. Unless you're a pretty girl or been there for a long time you can't have anything that makes you look like an individual at the company. You will be forced to wash everyone's dishes especially the owner's and his sons. If you're hired as a system administrator you may have one of the most important jobs in the company; however, you will be treated like a janitor and personal chew toy for the CEO. He does not respect Sys Admins even your director will tell you that. God forbid if you're working at the North Bay office he will make you clean bird poo from the hangovers. At Las Vegas, he will make you clean up after every contractor and including himself. Did I mention you do not get paid salary but hourly? They deduct your pay to the hour for any missed time for appointments or tardiness. You do not receive OT other than just time. If this was salary then they can't deduct you for being 15mins late or having to go to a doctors appointment if you are on top of your work. They overcharge their clients for the smallest things. If they catch you helping them out without putting your time in you will get reprimanded. If there is a client on the phone that no one wants to deal with they will end up calling you or the phone call will be thrown to you. You are treated like a slave and told what days you have to work late and what weekends they need your help moving things or waiting on contractors. You can not say no or else you will be reprimanded again. You have to teach yourself everything as they do not have any training for system admins. You are just throwin into the mix and hope you can swim long enough. There is no life-work balance. You come to work scared you'll be yelled at. You go home dreading to go to work tomorrow in case you forgot something and you will be reprimanded
