Probably the most depressing and lonely job I’ve ever had. Every hates each other, from a site level to management level - no social bonding within the teams, unless you’ve worked there decades don’t expect to make any friends or feel included, you can walk into the office and spend all day without having a friendly conversation. I don’t see how this is going to change as the company seem very resistant to implementing new ideas if they come from newer or younger colleagues and also very resistant towards having any diversity within the team - there’s a reason not many young people last here for long. I found I was given tasks and expected to know how to do them with very little instruction and belittled - no one seems to be able to help because they’ve all been there so long and are so arrogant and set in their ways that they simply don’t understand why you don’t understand - they’re incapable of putting themselves in your shoes.
