Pros

There were talented employees scored good points for the company's innovation and new technology.

Cons

The middle layer management along with some senior employees who worked there over 20 years formed a clique to prioritize their own security and the status quo. I witnessed top management and bottom employees constantly leave while they remain as gatekeepers. Be aware of the "friendly and candid" conversation initiated by your direct manager. It is data collection for the next round of layoff.
