Pros

Salary. That is literally it.

Cons

FAM Brands will aggressively recruit you with an amazing salary. But once you sign the dotted line, you don't exist. After about a month and a half, I experienced a lack of the following: Onboarding Training and direction Communication Transparency Positive feedback and encouragement Organization Leadership Honesty Support Trust I worked with some talented, kind folks. But overall, managers seemed beyond reproach. Work was oppressively siloed, and there was zero collaboration. Processes were often nonexistent between cross-functional teams. Very few views mattered, and usually it was just one. Gaslighting, passive aggressiveness, and micromanaging were the norm. To be clear and upfront, it ultimately wasn't the right job for me. Facing no support and encouragement, I often wondered why I was even there in the first place; I was set up for failure. I was also talked about negatively behind my back to my coworkers by a "superior" of all people. That didn't turn the team against me, though. They felt my pain. Furthermore, my manager was impossible to get a hold of. But when I did, they were virtually impossible to please, arbitrarily nitpicky, and sometimes even complained about the changes THEY made and gave to me. The poor reviews here are 100% true to what I experienced. So don't just take it from me. I had such high hopes working at FAM Brands. I was beyond disappointed.

Pros

The salary pay was decent.

Cons

- Wasn't onboarded in any way both by HR regarding the company and company expectations as well as department and my specific role. - Everything is a priority and was due yesterday, they want you to be a machine and power through work in an unrealistic time turnaround. It didn't help that the lack of onboarding of processes resulted in learning through mistakes. -When saying that something couldn't be achieved in a specific parameter you're met with reprimand. - Leadership says they strive for individuals that want to promote and motivate change, but when suggested new processes they're denied, not even given thought. - On salary, so standard 8 hour shift, but then leadership micromanages your time when you leave, because you're not there when they need you despite fulfilling your shift. NO WORK LIFE BALANCE.
