People were nice They remembered your birthday, celebrated at your favorite restaurant. Halloween, thanksgiving and Christmas was celebrated in a fun way Work was enough to keep busy. It was a government contact job so you have access to the military base depending on your job title. All the government holidays the office would close and I am not talking about Christmas just the normal holidays like Memorial Day, 4th of July and Veterans Day those holidays.
Cons
Benefits were not great Pay was so low that it felt like a retail job pay. I was paid $16 an hour as a full time employee. Some of the other employees got paid $17 or $18 an hour where the CEO and VP got paid more. If you were sick good luck because that was taken out of your vacation time and you don’t get paid if you weren’t working. I was sick last October I never took off once because I was saving my hours for thanksgiving and Christmas. I walked in sick I just kept my distance and had tissues and my favorite hot tea.
