      Don't expect to get ahead if you're a woman or a minority Executives are ineffective and non-communicative You are thanked for voicing your ideas but nothing is ever taken seriously if it comes from an hourly employee You have to be your own advocate; middle managers are powerless 3% raises in a failing economy
