Pros

An incredibly dedicated and experienced team that work selflessly for each other and towards building a successful company. I love coming to work every day because of their positivity and can-do attitude. There is a real focus on equality and inclusion with everyone, no matter what their background or situation, being accommodated via flexible working practices and a focus on outcomes, not inputs. People are trusted to make decisions, to learn from "mistakes" and to take responsibility for their own actions. Whilst there are clear annual and quarterly goals, the teams are responsible for working out the best way to deliver them and they are free to get on with it. No "HIPPO's" here. It's a genuinely fun place to work where laughter is welcomed. We all spend so much time together that having fun is vital. The great thing is that it is encouraged here.

Cons

The team is growing but we still need to hire more people as there is so much opportunity. Therefore we need to be ruthless with prioritisation. Sometimes we have to accept that the most important thing we have to do is not always the thing we want to do next! Apart from that, there are no real 'Cons' against EyeQuant. It's a great place to work.

Pros

Working at EyeQuant as an intern has been an amazing experience for the following reasons: 1) You are treated and valued as an individual human being. Period. 2) The employers emphasize that the company follows a flat hierarchy. I've not once heard sentences such as "because I told you so" or "I don't care what you think". Your input as an employee is always heard, appreciated and discussed. 3) You are motivated to learn and educate yourself. For example, we just started a weekly learning club to improve our programming skills (even for non-programmers). 4) We are a team, not a group of individuals. 5) You will be taken care of - whether you need a special desk chair or a business card holder, a yoga mat or a brand new ping pong paddle. 6) Particularly for internships, EyeQuant is a great place to start a career. When asking what is expected of me the answer was straightforward: Personal development. I was treated like every other employee, and I never had to get coffee for anyone.

Cons

The only negative aspect I can think of is the fear of having been spoiled for any future jobs that may lie ahead. It just seems too good to be true.

Pros

I love the openness and transparency at this place. In the weekly Show & Tell session on a Friday for example, you get to see how the business is moving and growing from lots of different angles. Personal development is also taken really seriously and you are encouraged to read books from the office library, attend conferences and even host your own Meetups so you can learn from other professionals in your field. Management is very open and honest and you receive regular feedback in fortnightly 1:1 sessions.

Cons

I wish we spoke more German in the office :-)
