Pros
In the software groups, engineers are not expected to kill themselves. It is largely results oriented, and a good engineer can meet expectations working 40 hours per week - maybe a little extra. The management team from Enterasys is good and you feel good working with them. Directors and above have unlimited vacation time. Lots of opportunity for technical growth. You can work in tax free New Hampshire!
Cons
Limited opportunity for moving up the ladder - basically due to small organization size and long average tenure of managers and senior engineers. None of the products seems to be #1 in the industry (though the customer service is very highly rated).
