Pros

Got to do a lot of different things Shouldered a lot more responsibility then I would have at a larger company I was able to get a good job based on my experiences there

Cons

Never really developed a solid career path there Senior management was not transparent at all Expectations were to sometimes work 70-80 hour weeks with no acknowledgement of your effort Extremely laughable salary Essentially, this place likes to hire a bunch of college kids who don't know better and chugs through them - making them do work way beyond their experience/skill level and burning them out until they quit a year or two later and find better jobs. The ones who stick around tend to be lifers and mostly weren't qualified to get an actual job anyway. The only positive I would take from working here as a new hire is that a lot of companies you apply to afterwards will be surprised at how much work you had to take on at such a junior level.

Pros

Collaborative team environment (mostly). Some really great people to learn from. Excellent HR department. Bagel Fridays. Quarterly company meeting with beer and food. When you feel like you are frustrated and have been in the office for 10h with no time to even have lunch at least you can walk around the office and find a few more people who share the misery. If you are a 'thick skin' and have no work ethics you can get away with doing half the work - just keep making up wordy believable excuses why work is delayed and someone else will end up getting it done.

Cons

Production line mindset, little space for creativity, definitely not people focused. The more effort and diligence you put the more it is taken for granted. Big on words when it comes to opportunities for professional development but not much else. If you actually like doing your job well you'll have to get used to seeing your 'thick skinned' colleagues pulling half of their weight - good luck maintaing positive attitude for a long time. Project management...won't even go there. Receiving recognition from management is much less likely than having them pass by you as if you are a wall. Employees are often kept in the dark about important decisions and even projects they would be responsible for.
