Pros

Colleagues prior to termination and dismissal of team with no grounds for dismissal.

Cons

-Lack of empathy, employee support, moral compass, integrity. -Care more about money and image rather than doing what is best those who intrust them with them their medical care. -lack of leadership on all levels -employees are disposable -Business is set up with minimal number of employees across states to all company to not provide basic benefits, such as short term disability. -constructive criticism or ideas for improvement are met with repercussions and often termination -zero training -long hours unpaid due to “shift pay” -most disrespect I have felt in a career- high school jobs such as restaurants, gas stations, etc treated employees better -No bereavement, holiday compensation, sick time off or pay time off. -HR is a puppet who simply terminates with no investigation -Leadership at all levels lacks accountability or acts as a leader -Could continue. Run new graduations, travelers, money is alluring, but no amount of money is worth it!

Pros

Many different practice locations across the US

Cons

While the company has potential to build relationships and experience across many hospitals, Extant creates a work environment that is unfortunately unhealthy and toxic. Key issues include poor leadership, lack of clear communication, and a culture that discourages collaboration and accountability. Employees often face unrealistic expectations, limited support, and favoritism, leading to high levels of stress and burnout. Attempts to address concerns are typically ignored, leaving employees feeling undervalued and unheard. While some colleagues are talented and hardworking, the overall atmosphere makes it difficult to thrive. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works toward creating a more respectful and supportive workplace culture.
