Pros

Rewarding pay IF you are in a location that can reach its goals, and there aren’t many at all....

Cons

Lack of support from leadership was the big concern here. Also, when you allow your sales reps to handcuff a store manager in a way it’s not a healthy environment. Your leadership should back up your store management and that’s not what happens here. When a store manager try’s to improve things and the leadership doesn’t support it and takes the side of the reps over the management instead of listening to the store management, that is a big problem. Also, when upper management has placed favoritism prior to you taking over a store that is also a huge concern. Upper management is absolutely terrible in Florida. I could give plenty of examples, but that would take up your whole day to read. It also doesn’t help that all other stores in a market are over an hour away from the rest of the market. It’s also disheartening that your upper management admits to hate driving to your store because it’s too far away. I have personally worked for other cell phone companies and have opened and operated stores over many years and this is by far the worst leadership I have ever seen. The whole market is understaffed and yet they can’t figure out why? Well it starts from upper management in my book. If the store manager is don’t what is needed to make things better and is not provided the proper tools and support to make things at least stable, then that’s a huge problem.

Pros

Somewhat decent perks such as a reduced bill. Free stuff from LG or Samsung such as bags, cups, hats etc. In store reps and managers were excellent and some of the best people I ever worked with.

Cons

Poor upper management. There were times were your commission check was be incorrect or you won't get commission for a sale, and upper management just says "put in a formstack", which was just like an online template you fill out and was the only way to get your issues solved. Well I would never hear back from them and I specially remember an instance were I called the back office and the commission lady said "oh I never even seen this". This happened to me and many other reps. There is lack of growth if you start off in sales and want to move up in a path not involving sales. There was a decrease in commission percentage but the hourly rate was increased, this was a horrible move because now they made a "qualifier" to were you MUST hit 2 goals to be CONSIDERED for commission, if you miss either one you get zero. Upper management can also be annoying and make you push certain things super hard when there is a slim compensation for you, but a huge one for them. There is also rare recognition for your outstanding performance, you will only be contacted if you are doing poorly.
