Pros
It was tough to find 20 words worth of good things to say about this company. Lots of pot luck lunches and snacks... Go work here if you have no where else to go... Or if you really like junk food. The problem with newspapers is not the content or the audience- it's the people, always the people...
Cons
If you are looking for a forward thinking, profitable, growing organization - keep looking. base and comp is low and plan is outdated. Mgmt doesn't care about employees (unless you've been there for 30 yes then they're worried you'll sue them, so those folks- even if they are terrible- have complete job security). Leadership is full of infighting and politics which cripple their ability to get anything done if they even had a clue (which is rare). Nepotism - rampant. Processes designed 50 yrs ago are still in place after not working for the last 40. Zero support from the mgt team. The culture and values they tout are a joke.
